But its most poetic detail lives outdoors: a private terrace with a vintage bathtub under the open sky. She believed bathing should be public, or at least theatrical. It was here, in rooms like this, that she lit cigarettes in silk robes and turned the act of undressing into art. Just as she once dove naked into the pool at Hotel Normandie, she lived entirely unfiltered.
